About Shaker Workshops Furniture Kits

Shaker Workshops furniture kits are produced by our own skilled craftspeople, based on specific Shaker pieces in museums and private collections. Whenever possible, we use the exact same grade and species of wood used in the originals.
Only common hand tools are needed to assemble our kits - you'll find that each component has been precisely fashioned to assure an accurate fit before you do the final hand sanding and finishing. You'll discover that the simplicity of Shaker furniture makes it not only beautiful, but also easy to assemble.

Our chair kits are unique because the backs are preassembled - squared up, glued, and pinned here in our workshops.
Each furniture kit contains all materials needed, including sandpaper, hardware, and simple step-by-step instructions. You select the stain of your choice.
